We have an opportunity available for a Claims Assistant. This individual will process Property and Casualty claims information received from clients, claimants and the Service Offices, post claim payments within detailed accounts utilizing the claims system, and support documentation and communication efforts related to claims process.
This person would also effectively contribute to the overall smooth operation of the department by following procedures and guidelines and working effectively with other departments. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the Accounts Payable function for Catholic Mutual Group including general administrative support for the Finance Department. The AP Specialist prepares and processes all expense reimbursements and company deposits as well as maintaining collection status on miscellaneous invoices and reconciling to the general ledger.
The AP Specialist requires 3-5 years prior experience with the following: Processing accounts payable, using accounts payable and general ledger software systems, and using Microsoft Excel and an email system similar to Microsoft Outlook. Experience with Adobe Professional is desirable. This position should have strong attention to detail and technical skills in accounts payable and general accounting and bookkeeping.

Position Overview
The Cell Captive Accountant is responsible for CRIC II Cell accounting and reporting, along with various operational accounting functions including benefit plans, fixed assets, and property tax filings. This position requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly accounting activities for CRIC II Cells, including payments, allocations, premium reports, asset/liability reports, and financial statements for Cell Owners/Members.
• Prepare analysis worksheets to support investment activities.
• Coordinate the annual VCAR filing for the State of Vermont and assist with CRIC II and cell audits.
• Account for fixed asset purchases, sales, disposals, transfers, and related depreciation for both CMRS and Canada; reconcile schedules to the general ledger; serve as audit contact for fixed assets.
• Manage real estate taxes and file personal property tax returns across multiple states, including related accrual entries.
• Perform self-funded health accounting functions such as fund transfers, journal entries, reconciliations, and claims verification.
Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting emphasis preferred), or equivalent experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.

Position Overview
The Risk Management Assistant plays a key role in supporting the administration of our Risk Management Program. This includes coordinating on-site inspections, managing compliance for Self-Inspection programs, and tracking School Safety Surveys. You’ll also assist with customer service for our online training platform and help coordinate CUP and CUP II programs.
This role involves preparing and assembling training materials—both digital and hard copy—including brochures, manuals, posters, and more. You’ll also provide clerical support for meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, distributing materials, and arranging travel and meeting logistics. Occasional travel may be required, including to locations outside Nebraska.
