Catholic Mutual Group (CMG) was established in 1889 and is recognized as the leading provider of property, liability and employee benefit coverage and related services for the Catholic Church in the United States and Canada.
The Human Resource Generalist builds relationships with candidates and staff while focusing on the objective to recruit new employees and train current staff. The HR Generalist works with hiring managers to research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates for positions at Catholic Mutual Group. The HR Generalist is responsible for identifying, implementing and conducting employee learning, training, and development. Provides backup for high level HR functions.
A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience is required. At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process and of providing and coordinating employee training is required. Must possess excellent verbal/written/interpersonal communication skills and strong organizational and time management skills. Must take the initiative to research, resolve and respond to issues in a timely manner. Requires ability to make decisions using sound judgment. Attention to detail is essential.

We have an opportunity available for a Claims Assistant. This individual will process Property and Casualty claims information received from clients, claimants and the Service Offices, type status and closing letters, reinsurance forms and written assignments, and post claim payments within detailed accounts utilizing the claims system.
This person would also effectively contribute to the overall smooth operation of the department by following procedures and guidelines and working effectively with other departments. Requirements of this position include a high school diploma and a minimum of two years’ experience in a clerical position.
