Claims Representative / Casualty Adjuster

We have an opportunity available for an experienced Claims Representative / Casualty Adjuster. This individual will process casualty claims from beginning to end by verifying coverages, adjusting claims directly or assigning them to independent adjusters, and defense counsel when appropriate. Responsibilities would also include authorizing payments or denials and communicating with clients, claimants, adjusters, and defense counsel both verbally and in writing, and participating in, including travel to, mediations.
Requirements of this position include an undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with casualty claims adjusting. The position of Claims Representative requires extensive telephone contact, and the individual should possess the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. The Claim Representative should have experience working with claims in litigation and negotiating settlements.
